Kimman's in the Community

In the past several months we have donated to BOP, York Arts' Art in Residence, the Cultural Alliance of York County, Joy's Defense Fund, York Suburban's Post Prom, Dallastown's Senior Party, New Hope Academy Charter School, Nicoll & Denise's Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training, CAPOC Day of Caring, American Cancer Society and the Lehman Center. Whew!

There is a very special event coming up that we want you to know about on July 17th. Emily Fritz, daughter of Dr. Fritz of P.I.N.K., is hosting a Survivor Brunch. We are dressing the models and Bella Cheveux is doing the hair and makeup. Details will be on our website (www.kimmans.com) and a link on our FB page will go up soon. Tickets are $20 which includes lunch. All proceeds benefit P.I.N.K and you can get your ticket at Kimman's. Come out and support a young philanthropist.

Upcoming Events

Mark your calendar for July 8th. Vera Bradley is launching the next selection of fabrics and styles and there is a nationwide party to celebrate. We will start at 4 pm and go until 8 pm. There will be prizes and giveaways the entire night, but you must be there to win.

We are also launching 2 new lines that night and there will be giveaways for those lines too. One line is a fabulous that a dear friend of mine gave me for Christmas (I tend to be hard to shop for!) and I liked it so much that I tracked it down for you too. It smells good, is eco-friendly and well priced and you won't have to drive to Baltimore to get it…

Miss Sally

Thank you to everyone who turned out for Miss Sally's Sendoff Party. She is only going across the river, so she will be back for special events. We wish her much happiness in her new house and new adventures of retirement!

As many of you know, my youngest daughter, Carrie, is graduating from high school this week and I want to congratulate her and her friends on their achievement and good luck on the next phase of their lives. Roll Tide Carrie! We will miss you dearly.

Now, I am off to the pool!
